Last week, we had some Columbia Journalism School graduate at the Daily Beast proclaiming Wahlberg grew up in "the rough Dorchester section of Massachusetts, otherwise known as 'Southie.'"
Today, though, it was Boston Magazine, of all news outlets, proclaiming
The Internet backlash against Wahlberg’s pardon request is evidence enough that there are some out there who still don't think he should be cleared by the State for what happened years ago in Southie.
They've since deleted the Southie reference, but, of course, nothing ever dies on the Internet.
