Transit Police report that around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, a man broke into one of the operator cabs on a Red Line train - but not the one the train's driver was using - and "hung his head out the window" while the train was in motion towards Andrew.
Transit Police report that other riders who saw something said something, so the train and John Joseph Murphy, 19, were met at the station by Transit officers.
The officers started writing him a summons to appear in court on a charge of trespassing, but then he refused to leave and "shouted homophobic slurs at officers," which earned him a ride to nearby Transit Police headquarters for booking.
Innocent, etc.
