Around 12:45 p.m., the MBTA reported Red Line delays while "personnel inspect the tracks at Andrew." Amy Clark reports the driver on their train was a bit more specific:
Standing by at JFK because of "a little (!?) Fire up ahead on the tracks at Andrew."
The T updated at 12:51 p.m. that its vaguely worded problem was fixed and service was resuming.
