Boston Police report arresting two men wanted in connection with a February murder in Minneapolis.

According to police, they got a tip around 11 a.m. yesterday that Farhan Ibrahim, 20, of Minneapolis, would be in a truck with a specific license plate in the South Boston area - which officers began patroling along with US marshals. Around 12:25 p.m., police say, officers found the truck at Cypher Street and West Service Road, stopped it and pulled out the driver and two passengers.

The driver, determined not to be wanted, was let go. But Ibrahim, wanted for murder, and Ahmed Rashed Ahmed, 26, of Boston, wanted for second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon causing serious injury were arrested to face an extradition hearing in South Boston Municipal Court, police say.

Police did not detail the murder, but according to a report in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Minneapolis Police issued warrants for the two for a February shooting that left a man paralyzed, as part of what police described as a war between a gang called the Somali Outlaws and several other local gangs.

Innocent, etc.
